This is the super awkward page where I tell you all about me and the amazing stuff I've done. I'd much rather learn about you and the amazing things you're doing in your business, but okay. I get it. I like to read about pages too.
Many, many years ago, I drove west.
I'd graduated from high school and had no idea what I wanted out of life. What I did know, was that there were a whole lot of different lifestyles and cultures outside of the Connecticut suburb I grew up in. And I wanted to explore it all.
I was curious. And I still am.
That curiousity sent me driving through 46 US States over a number of years, followed by a degree in American Studies at UC Berkeley where I focused on Popular Culture and Cultural Geography. Basically, I studied the stories that we build and the stories that surround us. My thesis, on the American Road Trip, analyzed how the signs that surround us influence the way we experience a landscape.
Since then, I've worked for UX and Design Agencies in London, managed a global communications team for an open-source software company and managed the delivery of multi-million dollar cloud infrastructure to telcos.
And now I work with values-led businesses to stand out from the crowd with a unique brand voice and to create an emotional connection with their audience through research-backed messaging and Trust-Forward Copywriting™.
